How Many menstrual pads are needed?

For one cycle, we recommend between 6-10 pads, depending on how heavy your flow is and how long your periods normally last, if you are using other protection, like JH period undies, and how often you plan to do laundry throughout your cycle😊

1. Rinse after use
2. Machine or Hand wash Cold/Warm
3. Hang to dry (No dryer)
4. Do not use Bleach/Fabric Softener
5. Have a Happy Period!

If you have forgotten to rinse after use and the blood has began drying, please follow these steps:

• Soak used undies/pads in cold or warm water. Do NOT use hot water as this can set the stains.
• Then add some detergent, preferably a mild & natural brand would be best.
• You may use stain remover as well, as long as it does not contain bleach.
• Let the undies/pads soak overnight in the sink or an open container/bucket.
• Dispose of the water into the toilet and throw the panties/pads into your washing machine.
• You can use detergent but do NOT use fabric softener as this can reduce the absorbency of the protective padding.
• Hang and air dry.
